Welcome to Academy of Learning Career and Business College Saint John Campus.  Saint John is the largest city in the province of New Brunswick, Canada, located at the month of the Saint John River, on the Bay of Fundy. It is Canada’s oldest incorporated city with the population of 121,179 (2005).

Long-term course or program (more than six month): If English is not your first language, an English Proficiency at a minimum of TOEFL 525 for diploma level program is required. Students may be required to undertake an English language entry examination prior to entering a diploma program.

Short-term course or program (six month or less than): You do not need a study permit if you plan to take short-term course or program in six month. The requirements may vary from campus to campus. Please contact the Admissions Representative for more information and assistance.

Language Requirement

· If you do not fully understand the lesson, you can repeat it before moving on to the next one.

· One-on-one instruction and monitoring is provided by trained, on-site Facilitators.

· You can start your program at any time.

· You set your own schedule - mornings, evenings, or weekends.

· You can prepare for recognized industry certifications from leaders such as: Microsoft, CompTIA, and Linux.

· You set your own pace of learning.  There is no need to keep up with the other students in the class

Confirm Entrance Requirement

Enrolment into any Academy of Learning diploma program requires successful completion of high school. You may be asked to provide a copy of your high school diploma and/or course transcript.

Confirm Study Arrangements

 

· Submit your Application Form to the Academy of Learning Career and Business College Saint John Campus

· Discuss requirements for a tuition deposit with your student counselor

· Once you have been accepted by the school and your tuition deposit has been received, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance from Academy of Learning Career and Business College.

· Take the Letter of Acceptance to Citizenship and Immigration Canada to apply for your Student Visa and Study Permit.

· Arrange for your accommodation while studying in Canada.

· Complete the appropriate placement test

· Arrange for ESL training, if needed.
